21 - 24 May 2024, Cape Town

The OpenG2P team had an insightful experience at the 2024 edition of ID4Africa Annual General Meeting (AGM), designed on the themes of Digital Identity as Infrastructure, building trust, fostering inclusion and accelerating use cases.

The 4-day event primarily focused on identity, while giving us the opportunity to meet and interact with countries and stakeholders and have conversations about OpenG2P’s offerings and explore possible collaborations.

We were pleased to receive few enquiries from various countries for the OpenG2P benefits delivery platform integrations into their current engagements for cash benefits transfer use cases that we are excited to pursue further.

Shankar K N, Head - Strategy & Resources, OpenG2P participated in a workshop on Accelerating Sustainable Digital Transformation through Collaborative Efforts between Govstack & DPX. The workshop, attended by the Philippines, Ethiopia, Zambia , Bhutan and the World Bank addressed challenges in interoperability within DPX (DPG and DPI) initiatives. DPGs including OpenG2P, OpenSPP, OpenCRVS, OpenID, and MOSIP had active discussions on success stories and better collaboration and these conversations led to some key takeaways on areas of collective focus.

We are grateful to have been a part of this milestone event by ID4Africa and look forward to continuing these conversations and returning next year.
